Once upon a time, on the South Coast of Java Island, there lived a nomad named Joko Budog. He only lives with the dog and his horse.

One day, Joko Budog was taking a nap. She dreamed of being visited by a very beautiful girl. Suddenly, a twig fell on his head and he awoke with surprise.

Joko Bodug decides to wander looking for the girl in his dream. He left with dogs and horses, his friends.

After wandering days, they arrived at Cowan Joko Budog Beach bathing there. When finished, Joko Budog searched and called his two invisible friends. Apparently, the dog and the horse turned into two rocks shaped dogs and horses. Joko Budog is very sad. To commemorate his best friend, he named the reef Coral Reef and Karang Kuda.

He went on his own wandering. He arrived in a small village. There, live Nyi Siti and her beautiful daughter, Ni Poh Haci. Ni Poh Haci is very clever to beat the dimples to play a beautiful rhythm. Many village girls came to learn to beat the dimples to him.

Upon reaching the village, Joko Budog was overwhelmed by the loud sound of the mortar. He also went to the sound. He was stunned to see Ni Poh Haci who was very similar to the girl in his dream. He immediately approached the girl and tried to get to know her parents.

Nyi Siti does not really like Joko Budog's unclear origin. However, seeing Ni Poh Haci like the young man, he also agrees they are married.

After marriage, Joko Budog increasingly likes to play dimples. The husband also created musical instruments that produced beautiful sounds. Because of joy, unceasingly Joko Budog played Lesung, thus disturbing the residents. Residents reprimanded him. However, Joko Budog did not care and kept ringing the dimple while jumping around.

Suddenly a citizen pointed at him while shouting "Hey! There is a monkey beating the pestle! There's a lutung pah alu! "Everyone looked at Joko Budog. (Monkey like a monkey with a long tail) Joko Budog was shocked when he realized that his whole body had overgrown feathers, so did his face. He has turned into a Iutung. Because sad, he ran and disappeared somewhere. To commemorate Ni Poh Haci, residents named the place Lesung Village. Because Ietaknya in a headland, his name became Tanjung Lesung.
